- Renewable Heating Engineer
- Wigan, UK. Full‑time, permanent role.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintenance of air source heat pumps (ASHP) and ground source heat pumps (GSHP).
- Install renewable and gas plumbing systems in new construction projects or renovations.
- Inspect and repair water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures.
- Collaborate with contractors, construction workers, and other professionals on job sites.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years proven experience as a commercial plumber in a similar role.
- Knowledge of G3 unvented, water regulations, legionella awareness, and the 18th edition of the Wiring Regulations.
- Level 5/6/7 in gas or equivalent NVQ 3/4/5.
- Experience with ACS plumbing and gas certification and FGAS.
- Electrical safe isolation knowledge.
- Bonus: BPEC certified in renewable heating installation and maintenance.
