This inclusive specialist SEND school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Mentor to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. Supporting pupils with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional communication needs, the school is committed to creating an environment where every child feels safe, supported and able to achieve their full potential.

What the Role Involves:
As a Learning Mentor, you will provide tailored academic and pastoral support to pupils both in and out of the classroom. Working closely with teachers and Teaching Assistants, you will help pupils develop confidence, resilience and independence while encouraging positive engagement with learning. You will also contribute to behaviour support strategies, intervention programmes and communication with families where appropriate.
What the School is Looking For:
The ideal Learning Mentor will have experience working with children or young people with SEND, either within education or transferable settings such as youth work, residential care or community support. The school is looking for a patient, empathetic and proactive Learning Mentor who can build meaningful relationships and support pupils to achieve both academically and personally.
Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. This is not a relocation opportunity.
Salary and Contract Info:
£105-£120 per day, dependent on experience. Full-time, temp-to-perm contract. Immediate start available.
