Salary: GBP32000 - GBP32000 per annum
RG Consultancy are working with an excellent manufacturing company, based at Trafford Park who are looking for a Credit Controller to join the finance team on a full‑time, permanent basis. This role will be joining a small finance team.
Role OverviewYou’ll be responsible for managing the full credit control function, ensuring customer accounts are paid on time and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Chasing outstanding payments and unpaid invoices
- Following up on remittances and debit notes
- Handling customer queries and resolving account issues
- Cash allocation and posting payments to ledgers
- Taking card payments and allocating receipts
- Opening new customer accounts
- Running credit reportsMonitoring customer creditworthiness
- Liaising with credit insurers
- Producing aged debt reports
- Raising invoices and credit notes when required
- Previous credit control and/or administration experience
- Cash allocation experience
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Understanding of credit insurance processes
- Competitive salary depending on experience
