We are recruiting for a successful business based in Flintshire who are currently undergoing a very exciting journey. The finance function has grown significantly over the last 12-18 months and is now recruiting for their next member – an Accounts Payable Assistant.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices – matching, batching and coding
  • Dealing with supplier queries on invoices and look to get resolved in a timely and efficient manner
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Setting up new suppliers on the system, verifying and requesting information
  • Managing everything up to payment runs
  • Processing expenses
  • Other duties when requested to support the rest of the business

For this role, you must have:

  • Experience working in a purchase ledger role before
  • Good systems knowledge, ideally ERP
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders internally as well as suppliers
  • Motivation to learn and develop and be accountable for your own standards
