A unique opportunity for a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join a well-funded early-stage technology company. Initially working remotely, with plans for a hybrid, in the London office, you will establish effective front-end development patterns, create high-quality front-end features, and transform complex data and workflows into user-friendly software solutions.
With the company at an exciting stage of growth, this role offers an excellent long-term career path, whether you choose to progress into technical leadership, software architecture, or other specialist technical areas.
Due to the nature of some client projects, you must be willing and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. You can join the team and work on other commercial projects while your clearance application is progressing.
Location: London office, hybrid, minimum 2 days a week
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
Requirements for Senior Front-End Software Engineer:
- Strong commercial experience developing modern front-end applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript and REST APIs
- Commercial experience with front-end testing, writing clean, maintainable code, and delivering high-quality user interfaces
- Passion for creating engaging, user-friendly applications with a keen eye for performance, usability and attention to detail
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment where you can take ownership, influence product direction, and make a genuine impact on the company's success
- You must be eligible to obtain UK SC Security Clearance due to the nature of some projects (typically requiring at least 5 years' continuous UK residency and a clean criminal record). Existing SC Security Clearance would be advantageous
- Exposure to any of the following would be beneficial: AWS, Back-End Development, Python, PostgreSQL, Docker and CI/CD

- Design, develop and deliver high-quality user-interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs and OpenAPI services
- Support in frontend testing
- Build user interface features and consistent workflows to enhance the overall user experience
- Optimise the user experience, accessibility and performance across the platform
