We are seeking a fluent Japanese-speaking Administrator to support a busy Software Development Team in London. This is a 6-month contract with hybrid working, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of development operations in a dynamic corporate environment.

Role Purpose

You will provide essential administrative support to the Software Development Team, ensuring day-to-day operations run efficiently. This includes managing documentation, providing system support to business users, coordinating recruitment and onboarding, and supporting contractors and staff with administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the development team and senior management.
  • Maintain and update development documentation to ensure standards and traceability.
  • Assist with recruitment activities, interview scheduling, offer management, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Handle contractor administration, including rate revisions and certain visa-related processes.
  • Monitor timesheet entries, track leave, and support resource planning.
  • Communicate effectively with development team members (C# Developers, Testers, Database Administrators) and users across London and European offices.

Person Specification

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese (written and verbal)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, quality-orientated, and a team player
  • Ability to provide support to a large team and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in Japanese corporate environments
