Salary: 43,000 + shift allowance
Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their maintenance team in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, including die-casting machines, furnaces, robots and presses, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.
Key Requirements:
- Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer.
- Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience within a heavy manufacturing or die-casting environment is highly desirable.
- Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
- Forklift and crane licences would be beneficial.
