About the role
Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading engineering company, in their search for a Fabricator to be based at their head office in Shropshire.
What our client is offering for the successful Fabricator:
- Monday to Thursday 7.45 AM to 4.30 PM and Friday 7.45 AM to 12.30 PM (Days)
- Permanent position

The Role – Fabricator:
- Carrying out high-quality MIG welding and fabrication of mild steel components
- Designing and building jigs to support robotic welding processes
- Identifying and implementing improvements to fabrication and assembly processes
- Ensuring all work is completed to high standards of quality, safety and efficiency
What our client is looking for in a successful Fabricator:
- HNC/ONC in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a completed engineering apprenticeship – ESSENTIAL
- Previous experience as a Fabricator, Jig Maker, Toolmaker, Prototype Fabricator, or similar – ESSENTIAL
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills working with mild steel – ESSENTIAL
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
