About the role

This role is based in Reckitt’s Supply – Manufacturing vertical and plays a key role in scaling the manufacturing execution system across Reckitt’s regulated factory operations through collaboration with engineering, quality, regulatory, R&D, manufacturing and IT stakeholders.

The Manufacturing Integration Lead is a senior technical role responsible for integrating manufacturing assets into a scalable, secure digital manufacturing ecosystem. It defines reference architectures, standards, and integration patterns across edge, IoT, and enterprise platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity requirements.

Working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, it embeds digital requirements into equipment design, standardises onboarding and commissioning, and ensures integration approaches are practical and scalable across sites. Overall, the role is accountable for delivering reliable connectivity, high‑quality data, and efficient, standardised integration that enables digital manufacturing at scale.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and maintain architecture, standards, and integration patterns for connected assets across edge, IoT, and enterprise layers
  • Lead end-to-end integration of manufacturing assets into MES, IoT, and data platforms
  • Design scalable solutions for both legacy and new manufacturing environment
  • Develop reusable, standardised integration templates to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Ensure reliable, real‑time data acquisition and alignment with manufacturing data models
  • Embed digital and connectivity requirements into engineering specifications and equipment procurement
  • Support manufacturing teams in onboarding assets and standardising commissioning processes
  • Provide technical leadership during global rollouts and site implementations
  • Troubleshoot complex OT/IT integration issues and ensure system reliability
  • Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, IT, and digital teams to align execution with strategy
  • Monitor integration performance, risks, and data quality, driving continuous improvement

The experience we're looking for

  • Expertise in industrial integration, automation, and manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with digital manufacturing technologies such as MES, SCADA, PLCs, and IoT platforms
  • Experience working in multi‑site or global manufacturing environments (preferred)
  • Proven hands‑on experience delivering industrial integration, automation, or manufacturing engineering solutions in complex environments
  • Experience in high‑speed batch processing and packaging operations. Ideally in CPG / FMCG industries
  • Experience of delivering solutions within factory environments

The skills for success

  • Diploma in Engineering or supply chain operations
  • Understanding of edge computing and cloud‑based integration architectures
  • Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills in complex, cross‑domain environments
  • Technical leadership, collaboration, and the ability to translate strategy into practical solutions
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment (CFR21, ISO and other)
  • Knowledge of OT/IT integration, including industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus)
  • Familiarity with advanced use cases such as predictive maintenance, digital twins, and data‑driven optimisation
  • A hands‑on leadership approach with a focus on standardisation, continuous improvement, and delivery outcomes
  • Problem solving and CI tools
  • Ability to travel as relevant to perform the job
