Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer; the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT.
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 pa
39 hours basic working week
31 days leave inc Bank holiday
Benefits: Pension, free parking
The role is to produce design and detailed drawings of the parts and assemblies that make up the machinery.
Skills and experience required:
- Knowledge of using a modern 3D design software package preferable Solidworks
- Knowledge of engineering manufacture processes and materials
- Understanding of engineering practices, including fits and tolerances
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, motors and actuators
