A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST CHEF AT OUR HOTEL
Salary : 12.46 – 12.71 per hour – negotiable on experience
Shifts : 5.30am – 12.30pm
What you\’ll be doing…
Reporting to the Food, Beverage & Kitchen Manager you can expect your working day to include the following duties.
- Take control of the breakfast service and ensure guests receive a truly delicious and memorable breakfast
- Setting up and cleaning down the kitchen after breakfast
- Answer and Support all restaurant FOH queries
- Ensure the kitchen is always kept clean and hygienic and all stocks are kept under optimum conditions
- Ensure all dishes are being prepared to the correct recipe and to the correct quantity.
- Ensure any anticipated issues are communicated promptly to the F&B Manager
- Attend training courses as and when required
- Assist with stock take and orders when required
- Assisting with lunch service as required
- Hours of work are normally 5.30am to 12.30pm
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- The ability to manage various sections of the kitchen, whilst ensuring health & safety standards are met
- To be flexible in your approach, and able to assist any other members of the kitchen brigade when required
- Someone who is passionate about food and willing to learn
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Someone looking to develop their Chef skills and wanting to progress
- Ability to handle pressure calmly and professionally.
