About the role

Our client is an Engineering company based in the Liverpool area and they require a Manual Turner to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role is mainly manual turning and you must be a skilled Manual Turner. Also some experience of mechanical fitting would be an advantage.

You will be mainly working on small batch parts and most of the time you will be required to measure worn or broken parts to produce new parts to high tolerance taking into consideration bearing tolerances, machined threads etc.

This role will mainly be workshop based but there will be the requirement to visit customer sites to measure worn parts, sketch an engineering drawings and produce the parts back at the workshop.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7.30am - 4pm.

The basic salary for this role is £40-45K plus call out bonus and regular overtime.
