About the role

We're looking for a UK-based Full Stack Developer to join our team on a 3-month contract, with a focus on backend development using .NET 8. The project is part of a modern, enterprise-grade platform, and while full-stack experience is essential, the day-to-day work will be heavily backend-oriented. This is a fully remote role, ideal for someone confident working independently across a well-structured codebase, with experience in high-quality delivery across C#, APIs, and SQL.

Core Skills & Experience

  • Backend: C# with .NET 8, Building and maintaining RESTful APIs, SQL Server - strong query skills, stored procedures, indexing, performance tuning, Clean architecture and separation of concerns
  • Frontend: ReactJS v6, TypeScript (strict mode), React Router, Redux (or similar state management), SCSS, CSS Modules, normalize.css
  • Testing: Backend: xUnit or equivalent for unit/integration tests, Frontend: Jest, React Testing Library, Writing clean, testable code with good coverage
  • General: Git and feature-branch workflows, Jira (or similar tools), Agile development practices, Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with SSO integration, particularly using Azure Entra ID / OpenID Connect / MSAL
  • Familiarity with AG Grid
  • Exposure to Azure services
  • Awareness of accessibility and performance best practices
