About the role

Pure Staff are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder to join our client based in Lydney, Gloucestershire. Our client specialises in welding repairs on spray tanker vehicles and is currently expanding their services, creating an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder to join their growing team. This MIG Welder role is ideal for someone with strong welding experience who is looking for long-term work, with the potential to secure a permanent position following a successful trial period.

As a MIG Welder, your duties will include:

  • Carrying out MIG welding on spray tanker vehicles
  • Inspecting welds to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Maintaining tools and welding equipment
  • Supporting the team with general workshop duties as required

Previous MIG welding experience - essential

Ability to pass a welding test as part of the interview process

Experience in vehicle repair or industrial welding desirable

Pay & Shifts:

  • £16.00 - £19.00 per hour (depending on experience and weld test)
  • Monday - Friday
  • Competitive pay rate based on experience and skill level
  • Weekly pay from an experienced payroll team
  • Holiday accrued up to 28 days (pro-rata)
  • Opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidate
