Animal Studies Lecturer
Preston | Full Time and Part Time roles available | Temporary
We are currently recruiting for an Animal Studies Lecturer to join a well-established FE College in Preston on a full-time, temporary ongoing basis, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality teaching across Levels 1-3 Animal Care and Animal Management, or similar.
- Plan, prepare and assess learning activities in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support learners to achieve their academic and practical goals.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the wider curriculum and student experience.
Requirements
- Experience teaching or training within Animal Care, Animal Management, Zoology, Veterinary Nursing or a related subject.
- Relevant industry qualifications and practical experience.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Award in Education & Training, etc.) is desirable.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for supporting and developing learners.
