About the Role
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Officer to support the effective management of data systems within our thriving secondary school. This is an important administrative role, responsible for maintaining accurate student and school data, producing reports, and supporting staff with data-related processes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders and administrative teams to ensure information is reliable, accessible and supports day-to-day school operations. Applications are welcomed from experienced school administrators, data assistants and data officers with relevant experience working within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Management
- Support the collection, validation and processing of assessment, attendance and pupil information.
- Produce routine and ad hoc reports for staff and senior leaders.
- Assist with data audits and quality assurance checks.
- Support compliance with GDPR and all relevant data protection requirements.
Administrative Support
- Assist with census returns and statutory data submissions.
- Support the maintenance of pupil records and school databases.
