The Role - English Teacher
As an English Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that develop students' reading, writing, speaking and analytical skills. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering English Language and Literature lessons across the secondary curriculum
- Adapting teaching to support different abilities, including students with SEND
- Developing vocabulary, extended writing and confident discussion
- Assessing understanding and providing purposeful feedback
- Preparing students for assessments and examinations
