This is a pivotal standalone role, offering the chance to build on significant progress already achieved and become the driving force behind continuous improvement across the site.

The business has invested heavily in its systems, processes and people over the last 18 months, creating a strong platform for future growth. They are now looking to appoint a visible, hands-on leader who can embed a culture of continuous improvement and deliver measurable operational gains. • Coach, train and influence employees at all levels, building CI capability throughout the business
  • Act as a visible presence on the shop floor, engaging teams and driving cultural change
  • Measure and report on improvement activities, benefits realised and future opportunities

To be successful in this role you will need:

Proven experience implementing and leading integrated operational CI systems within a manufacturing environment

Strong practical knowledge of TPM

Experience using tools such as OEE, 5 Why, Pareto Analysis, Kaizen, SMED, 5S and Root Cause Analysis

A track record of delivering measurable improvements in productivity, reliability, quality and operational performance

Strong stakeholder management and the ability to influence and challenge across all levels of an organisation

Excellent coaching, leadership and communication skills

Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or other high-volume, fast-paced manufacturing environments would be highly advantageous

The Person

This role would suit a proactive and ambitious CI professional who enjoys taking ownership, developing strategy and turning ideas into action. You'll be someone who can both take direction and provide it, bringing fresh ideas whilst maintaining the collaborative culture already established within the business.

We're looking for an individual who thrives in a hands-on environment, enjoys being close to the operation and has the credibility to engage operators, engineers and senior leaders alike. Cultural fit will be just as important as technical capability, with the business valuing teamwork, accountability and a shared commitment to success.
