Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team at their Romford, Essex office.

What You'll Be Doing
- Working as part of the commercial team, you'll assist with the financial and contractual management of a variety of civil engineering projects, including:
- Preparing client valuations and applications for payment
- Assisting with project cost reporting and financial analysis
- Supporting tendering and estimating activities
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining commercial records
- Assisting with contract administration and commercial management
- Supporting risk and opportunity reviews
- Providing commercial support to operational project teams
- Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures
What We're Looking For
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills with a positive, proactive attitude
- Construction or Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, Degree or equivalent) desirable
- Previous experience within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, highways, utilities or groundworks is advantageous but not essential
- A genuine desire to develop a career in Quantity Surveying
