We identify and engage high-potential prospects, deeply understand their business needs, and help them see how Plaid can unlock real value. We work as one team — collaborative, ambitious, and focused on long-term impact. As a New Business Associate (NBA), you will play a critical role in fuelling the growth of Plaid in the UK and EU by generating high-quality pipeline. You will partner closely with Account Executives to run outreach campaigns, design strategies for account engagement, and open doors to some of the most exciting fintechs in the region. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, driven, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with high standards.
You will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective customers across our key segments. You will work closely with AEs to support account strategy, map organisations, and build strong outbound approaches. You will build personalised, high-quality outreach across multiple channels. You will contribute to team development by supporting onboarding, campaign design, and cross-functional projects. You will develop your commercial skillset in a high-growth, high-support environment.
Responsibilities- Drive high-quality meetings that convert into qualified opportunities
- Conduct account research and develop strategic outreach cadences
- Collaborate with AEs to build and execute account plans
- Manage pipeline progress through Salesforce and internal tooling
- Support the go-to-market strategy for UK and EU prospects
- Contribute to the development of outbound campaigns in partnership with Marketing
- Participate in team initiatives including onboarding new hires and operational projects
- Nurture early-stage and dormant opportunities to drive incremental pipeline
- Strong communication skills and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly
- Demonstrated drive, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Some experience in a client-facing or commercial role (sales, CS, partnerships, consulting, or equivalent)
- Comfort working in a high-ownership, high-expectation environment
- Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from peers
- Curiosity about fintech, APIs, and financial infrastructure
- Experience in outbound sales development or experience working with complex products in a client-facing, target-oriented role.
