What will this role achieve? Reporting to the Supply Chain Finance Director, this role owns end‑to‑end Supply Chain Finance FP&A, leading planning, performance management and decision support, alongside accountability for wider Supply Chain finance activities including capital investment, transfer pricing, product costing and logistics finance. Through strong leadership of a central team, you will create a costing centre of excellence ensuring robust financial insight, disciplined governance, and clear visibility of cost, margin, and investment performance across manufacturing sites, logistics, and central Supply Chain functions.

  • Financial Control & Product Costing Manager
  • Planning & Capital Expenditure Manager
  • Logistics Finance Manager

As a Senior Manager, you will set direction, priorities, and standards for Supply Chain Finance, ensuring high‑quality outputs, strong controls, and effective business partnering aligned to UK&I and Global objectives.

What will be your key deliverables?

  • People & Business Partnering: Provide senior financial leadership and business partnering to Supply Chain leadership, supporting decision‑making with clear, high‑quality insight. Build strong, trusted relationships across Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance to drive performance and mitigate financial and control risks. Lead, coach and develop the central Supply Chain Finance team, creating a culture of accountability, ownership and high performance.
  • Supply Chain FP&A, Performance & Insight: Own end-to-end Supply Chain Finance FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and performance insight across manufacturing sites, logistics and central functions. Ensure transparency of cost drivers, productivity and financial performance, with clear insight into variances, risks and opportunities. Drive high‑quality performance management and decision support aligned to UK&I and Group objectives.
  • Capital Investment, Costing & Pricing: Lead financial governance and decision support for capital investment projects, from business case development and approval through to tracking and post‑investment review. Own product costing and transfer pricing governance, ensuring robust methodologies, optimal processes, clear understanding of cost movements, and effective communication of margin impacts.
  • Financial Control & Continuous Improvement: Set standards for strong financial control, governance and compliance across Supply Chain Finance. Champion simplification, standardisation and continuous improvement of financial processes to improve efficiency, insight and quality of outputs. Act as a senior point of escalation on financial risks, controls and issues across the end‑to‑end Supply Chain.

What do you need for this role?

  • Essential CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
  • Proven FMCG (Food & drink is beneficial) experience
  • Strong Financial Control
  • Comfortable challenging the Status Quo and influencing Senior Stakeholders
  • Project Management / Leadership of Business Critical Workstreams
  • Able to demonstrate a proven communication and teamwork ability, with the gravitas to build solid, successful working relationships cross-functionally
  • Understanding of Standard Costing and variance analysis
  • Experience working with Internal & External Audit
  • Track record of providing robust and insightful financial analysis, including planning and forecasting
  • Experience of Financial Analysis / modelling / investment appraisal techniques
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of SAP system and ability to get up to speed quickly
