What will this role achieve? Services Operators are accountable for keeping the factory running smoothly. They will work with the Supervisor to fix any issues and help keep production on track. You will be carrying out tasks that need a hands-on approach and operating machinery. The role needs flexibility and good communication skills. The role requires a can-do attitude with commitment to maintaining high standards. Will move lines across the factory as and when required.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Loading/Off-Loading incoming goods
- Operation of FLT, EHB, Combi Lifts, VNA and Narrow side Trucks
- Autostore tasks
- Stock Rotation
- Use of PC /SAP/Autostore and Citrix Systems
- Lead Supply Chain Excellence in the area by running team meetings and keeping boards updated
- Train others in area when required
- Flexible in working approach and ensure the department runs in an efficient manner
Bring your experience:
Essential- Basic numerical and literacy knowledge
- Manual dexterity
- Basic communication skills
- Basic problem recognition
- Excellent team working skills
- Be able to multi-task and have the drive and tenacity to work under your own initiative
- Positive attitude and willingness to drive change within operational environment
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential, training given
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment and of HACCP and safe systems of work
- Understand zonal Key Performance Indicators (production targets, waste levels and line performance)
What does the recruitment process consist of?
- Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude assessment along with a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 45–60 minutes to complete.
- Interview – 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience. Depending on your current job role, you may not be required to complete the assessments.
