What will this role achieve?
This is a very exciting opportunity to support the Regulatory Compliance Manager to ensure the legal compliance of all pladis products sold within the UK and Ireland.
In a time-pressured environment and often tight timescales, your goal will be to provide sound regulatory information and advice to support product launches and re-designs in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with local regulations and pladis policies.
What will be your key results?

Ensure regulatory compliance of pladis brands in accordance with sales market, with regard to product formulation, pack copy generation, and artwork sign-off, in line with pladis policies.

Working closely with R&D, convert recipe details into pack copy information to appropriate legal formats for intended sale market, using internal IT system.

Work closely with P2M and translation agencies to ensure timely preparation of information across multiple markets.

Review and sign-off artwork designs against relevant pack copy for legal compliance for market. Ensure multi-lingual labels are checked and approved by translation or food law agency.

Understand pladis allergen matrices and apply accordingly to ensure packs are labelled with the accurate allergen warnings.

Represent the Regulatory Affairs team where appropriate with project team meetings with a specific remit to advise on compliance implications.
What do you need for this role?

Qualifications: Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or other food science-based degree.

A knowledge/understanding of EU Food Legislation, guidelines, and codes of practice.

Excellent attention to detail.

Good communication and influencing skills.

Proven project management and implementation skills will be essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

High level of digital literacy & proficiency in using web-based specification systems.

Strong numeracy skills.

Works autonomously, but also a good teammate.
Please note: this role will require 1 day per week on site at our High Wycombe location.

Experience using SAP, Interspec and/or Hamilton Grant.
