2-week rotating pattern (Week 1: Monday – Wednesday 6am - 18:05pm and Thursday 6am - 14:05pm, Week 2: Monday – Wednesday nights 6pm-6:05am)

Hopwood Lane, Halifax, HX1 4EY. Easily commutable from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, Wakefield (West Yorkshire areas)
Education Requirements:
We are more interested in the current skills of the person applying rather than their previous academic achievements however we would prefer applicants to have a GCSE pass in English and Maths.

What will this role achieve?
Overseeing the baking process for our fabulous products, on a production line (checking and monitoring their production, just like how you would bake at home...but easier in some ways)
What will be your key deliverables?
- Overseeing the baking process for loaf cakes, cake bars & flapjacks on a production line. (Checking and monitoring production, just like how you would bake at home...but easier in some ways.)
- Checking the product quality throughout the shift, to ensure its tastiness
- Maintaining our equipment and machines, in line with guides, to make sure we can bake at our best
- Communicating with colleagues
- Identifying opportunities to improve the way we do things
- Training others (once trained!)
- Maintaining our working standards, ensuring hygiene and safety to our people and products
- Once trained, owning the mixing responsibilities (ingredients), process area (baking), wrapping and/or transporting of the product we produce
- Reviewing processes to maximise efficiency, ensuring waste is minimised
- Collaborating with colleagues to problem solve against production issues which may crop up

What does the recruitment process consist of?
Whilst we do ask for CV to showcase your skills and experience, if you would prefer to format this into a letter, or other format, this will also be accepted.
Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude and a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 60 minutes to complete.
Interview – 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
If you are an internal member of staff, you might not need to do all the assessments it is dependent on your current role.
