What will this role achieve? pladis is in a fortunate position to have some of the UK & Ireland's most loved and consumed food brands in McVitie's TM, Jaffa, Penguin, Mini Cheddars, Jacob's, Carr's etc. At pladis we believe in growing and stretching our teams. This role will be based in the Commercial Operations function and is focused on developing our pladis portfolio in order to compete to win. As Commercial Planning Executive, you will be working closely with Marketing, Sales, Category and Finance to ensure our commercial calendar is as strong as possible and executed in market flawlessly.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Support in planning and tracking of activity by account and channel against key initiatives such as innovation and marketing campaigns, ensuring that we hit key range windows.
- Ensure customer execution is aligned to key timings such as ATL and BTL support.
- Conduct data analysis using internal/external sources and support on developing insight that consistently drives a winning commercial plan.
- Collate key material for monthly Marketing and Customer execution meetings and follow through actions.
- Work closely with the Commercial Planning manager to ensure our commercial/brand plans are strong and fit to win by customer and channel, working on solutions where the plan can be strengthened.
- Support the Revenue Growth through ensuring execution of the marketing plan through the sales team, tracking delivery vs budget and recommending corrective action where necessary. This includes developing strategies to increase profitable growth through promotions and pack format strategy.
- Track promo guideline execution, and optimise promo return on investment through internal evaluation and review systems.

What will the interview process be?
- Initial screen with Talent Acquisition.
- 1st stage interview – 45 minutes competency-based interview based on our company values and your experiences.
- 2nd stage interview – 90 minutes – a technical interview to understand your skill set/case study or presentation interview.
- pladis does also use both Psychometric and Aptitude tests to support our processes so you may be asked to complete these as part of your process.
