Salary: £38,939.32
Working Hours: 2 week rolling rota - 7am – 7pm Monday – Thursday, 7pm – 7am Monday – Wednesday.

What will this role achieve? We’re looking for a motivated person to join us as a Team Member 1. You’ll work in a fast paced factory making products for a leading UK brand. You will be responsible for the manufacture of cake based, chocolate enrobed products on a continuous operation.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Carry out all pre-start checks.
- Carry out product quality evaluations throughout the shift.
- Understand equipment and machinery set up.
- Be able to work in a cross-functional working environment.
- Ensure changeovers are completed to procedure.
- Ensure all documentation is filled in correctly and to the right standard.
- Shift handovers are completed in area and to agreed agenda.
- Train peers and new operatives in equipment use and procedures when required.
- Undertake basic problem diagnosis and maintenance.
- Communicate directly with relevant person to resolve any issues.
- Control and operate a variety of processes and equipment.
- Ensure the efficient operation of process equipment whilst carrying out quality inspections.
- Maximise plant efficiency whilst minimising waste.
- Ensure housekeeping and hygiene standards are maintained to the highest of levels.
- Work to the highest standards of GMP.
- Support the business with the generation of any improvement initiatives.

- Experience working with food or machinery in a quality-focused factory is valuable, but not essential.
- Understand zonal Key Performance Indicators (production targets, waste levels and line performance).
What does the recruitment process consist of?
- Assessments – Swift Comprehensive Aptitude and a Workplace English assessment. These should take around 60 minutes to complete.
- Interview – 45-60 minute competency-based interview based on our company values and your experience.
- If you are an internal member of staff, you might not need to do all the assessments; it is dependent on your current role.
