Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced and Trainee/Junior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineers to join our expanding team.

The Role

As an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you will travel to customer sites across East Anglia to install, service and maintain a wide range of commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service and maintain air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Participate in our on-call rota to provide customers with 24-hour emergency breakdown cover.
  • Complete all required documentation, including job sheets, maintenance reports and timesheets.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
  • Provide feedback to management on completed works and any customer requirements.
  • Support and encourage the development of junior engineers where appropriate.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working on air conditioning and refrigeration systems. (not applicable to trainee roles)
  • City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. (not applicable to trainee roles)
  • FGAS Category 1 Certification. (not applicable to trainee roles)
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach to working hours and participation in the on-call rota.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with pride in delivering high-quality work.
