About the role

Do you have Team Leader or Manager experience in Outbound Telesales and Account Management? We're looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Business Development Team Leader to lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, driving sustainable growth through new customer acquisition, cross-selling and exceptional customer experiences. If you have experience of managing Outbound Telesales teams and account management, we would love to hear from you.

  • Leading, motivating and developing a team of sales advisors to exceed sales and KPI targets.
  • Driving new business generation, pipeline management and conversion performance.
  • Coaching and mentoring team members through regular training, call coaching and performance reviews.
  • Creating a positive, high-energy sales culture that encourages success and continuous improvement.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling and new sales initiatives.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and presenting regular sales results and insights.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
  • Managing day-to-day people responsibilities including attendance, performance and engagement.

Minimum 4 years' telesales leadership experience within a target-driven environment. Proven track record of delivering and exceeding sales, revenue and margin targets. Strong coaching and sales training experience with the ability to inspire high performance. Experience managing outbound sales activity, account management and contact strategies. Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills. Highly organised with strong time management and analytical abilities. Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
