Love recruitment, but not so keen on the business development side?
I'm working with a really interesting business in Beverley that's looking for an experienced Internal Recruiter to join its team.
What makes this one a little different is that the business didn't actually start out in recruitment. Its roots are in the aviation industry, and it now operates across specialist recruitment, aircraft maintenance and technical training.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing skilled engineering and maintenance professionals for an established account, with plenty of ongoing recruitment requirements.
This is definitely not a case of posting an advert and waiting for the CVs to arrive!
The market is candidate-short, so you’ll need to enjoy headhunting, proactively approaching candidates and working hard to get the right people across the line.
There’s also a strong compliance and onboarding element, working closely with the wider maintenance and training teams.
And you don't need aviation experience!
Recruiters from Engineering, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Renewables, Wind Energy or similar technical markets could be a great fit.
You’ll have excellent support from a manager who's previously done the role himself, and the opportunity to join a stable, established business where recruitment is a key part of its ongoing operations.
If you’re an experienced recruiter who enjoys sourcing, building candidate relationships and making placements, but would love to do it without the BD element, this could be a brilliant move.
