We’re hiring a UPS Engineer to join a Data Centre Solutions team, working on three-phase UPS and critical power systems for hyperscale clients across the UK.
This is a project-led role covering the full lifecycle, from pre-sales technical support through to commissioning and final handover, with regular South East-based work and EMEA travel in short blocks.
The package is strong, the equipment is high-spec, and there is genuine progression for engineers who perform.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be working on three-phase UPS systems and critical power infrastructure across major data centre environments.
The role covers projects from early technical input through to installation, commissioning and client handover, working closely with clients, commissioning teams and internal project managers.
This is a project-led role rather than a standard maintenance position, so you’ll need to be confident, professional and comfortable taking ownership on site.
Strong UPS service engineers with some commissioning exposure are encouraged to apply, especially if you’re looking to step into a more end-to-end project role.
What You’ll Need
- Hands-on three-phase UPS experience
- Experience working on UPS systems from 10kVA to 500kVA
- Commissioning experience, or strong service experience with some commissioning exposure
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable working on critical power systems
- Professional and confident dealing directly with clients on site
- Willingness to travel across the UK and EMEA
- Calm, reliable and composed under pressure
- Driven by quality of work, progression and long-term development
Desirable Experience
- Hyperscale data centre experience
- Background with recognised UPS manufacturers or critical power providers
- Experience across installation oversight and project handover
- Strong diagnostic ability across UPS and critical power systems
- Experience working internationally or across large-scale project environments

- £65,000 - £75,000 basic salary
