About the role

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Flat bed Driver to join our well-established client based in Wigan, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities to grow and progress.

This position is ideal for candidates seeking roles as an HGV 1 Driver, Category C Driver, or Truck Driver.

Shifts: Monday - Friday

Pay: £18.00 per hour

Your benefits as a HGV Class 1 Flat-bed Driver will include:

  • Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry
  • Competitive rates of pay

As a HGV Class 1 Flat-bed Driver, your day-to-day duties will include:

  • Monday to Friday working
  • Driving Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Completing 6–7 flat bed deliveries across the Northwest
  • Taking photographs to document successful deliveries

The skills required to be a HGV Class 1 Flat-bed Driver are:

  • A minimum of 12 month's experience as a Category CE Driver
  • Valid UK Category CE driving licence
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
  • Previous flat bed HGV 1 driver experience

Training Provided:

  • First-day assessment followed by training alongside a permanent staff member
  • Industry-related training and ongoing support
