About the role

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Irlam, Greater Manchester.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work within a supportive and professional environment. This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, or Tanker Driver.

The HGV Class 1 ADR Driver will be responsible for driving Class 1 tankers and will be required to complete nights out. This is an ongoing position with the potential of a contract for the right candidate.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday
  • £19.00 per hour
  • £26.20 night out allowance
  • Potential for a permanent contract for the right candidate
  • Ongoing work
  • Weekly pay
  • Training provided
  • Immediate starts

As a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Safely transporting goods to client sites
  • Operating and driving Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Communicating effectively with the transport office

To be successful as a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver, you will need:

  • A valid UK Category CE licence
  • A minimum of eighteen months' experience driving Category CE vehicles
  • A valid ADR licence
  • Good spoken and written English
  • Previous commercial driving experience

Training: Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout.
