About the role

We’re excited to be recruiting a Registered Homes Manager to lead an EBD children’s home as part of an organisation undergoing an exciting period of growth. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager from an Emotional Behavioural Difficulties background who is a versatile, forward-thinking leader who can adapt and shape the service.

About the role:

You will take full responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children aged 8-17. You’ll play a key role in driving standards, embedding a positive culture, and shaping the future direction of the service during an exciting transformation period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, safeguarding, and quality standards
  • Create a child-centred, therapeutic, and outcomes-focused environment
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing staff team
  • Manage budgets, rotas, and overall service performance
  • Build strong relationships with professionals, families, and stakeholders

About you:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years experience in residential childcare
  • Experience within EBD settings
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices
  • A confident leader with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for children
  • Full UK driving licence
