We’re supporting a well-established, family-owned construction business in their search for an experienced Bookkeeper to join them on a part-time, self-employed basis. This hands-on role will suit someone confident working independently and looking for a long-term commitment with a friendly, close-knit team. You’ll play a key part in keeping the finance function running smoothly, with flexibility around working days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping using Xero
- Management of sales and purchase ledgers
- Invoice discount financing support
- Cash and credit card reconciliation
- Supporting payment runs and general accounts admin
What we’re looking for:
- Several years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with Xero accounting software
- Solid understanding of both creditors and debtors
- Ability to manage your workload with minimal supervision
- Ideally local to Altrincham area, with ability to work on-site
