A Payroll Manager is required for a vital role in a well-established retail company in Dartford. This individual will take responsibility for Payroll (weekly and Monthly – 350) Client Details The company is a highly respected in their industry sector. Headquartered in Dartford, they pride themselves on providing quality services to their vast customer base. Description Full end to end payroll processing for all payrolls. Complete payroll reconciliations and analysis Responsible for the administration of the payrolls without supervision, including administer RTI submissions and process end of year forms P60 and P45, P46 and P11D’s Liaison with sites/employees for any payroll queries Analysing and reporting on payroll data Auditing the payroll to make sure it satisfies all government regulations. Ad hoc duties as required. Verify new starters right to work and review starter pack Set up all new starters on all systems Maintain the Employee Benefits Schemes Maintain the Life Insurance Scheme – Issue from templates Monthly Contracts of Employment Issue Disciplinary/Absence/Termination Letters Provide all Payroll related Advice required by the company Liaise with Management Accountant Report Writing as required Profile A successful Payroll Manager should have: A technically strong payroll professional – CIPP Qualified – Computer literate Have extensive knowledge of PAYE/NIC and statutory payments e.g. Redundancy, SMP and SSP Extensive knowledge of pension schemes including the Auto Enrolment process Proactively develop and keep up to date with new payroll legislation and compliance. Confident and able to maintain good levels of communication.
