Mechanical Site Manager

Mechanical Site Manager required for immediate work on commercial new build projects across London. Typical projects include new build apartment blocks, student accommodation, schools, hospitals, offices, and retail, with values ranging from £250k to £2m+

This is a long-term position, either CIS or LTD, paying up to £280 per day, overseeing direct and subcontract labour.

There is an option to work via an agency on a temporary basis or consider a permanent position with the client after a certain time period.

The successful applicant will have a mechanical trade background and will be capable of addressing various day-to-day challenges while overseeing a team of plumbers on new build commercial projects.

You will manage a mix of subcontract and agency labour across various parts of the project, lead toolbox talks, and communicate health and safety notices as required, as well as arrange inductions.

As an experienced site manager or foreman, you must be client-facing and represent our client’s professional reputation at all times.

You may also assist with challenging aspects of the installation and provide advice and practical solutions to design issues and alterations.

There will be an element of administration involved, including paperwork, timesheets, delivery notes, induction paperwork, and management of drawings and schedules.
