Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Our client, a well established mechanical and electrical installation contractor of more than 20 years is currently seeking a Electrical Design Engineer. This is a permanent position paying £60k – £65k plus package. The business typical projects are commercial new build design and installation across London & the south east. M&E package values ranging from £500k – £3m Working closely with the contracts managers, and directors you will be responsible assisting the business with design aspects for project wins. The successful Candidate 4-5 years post degree experience Based in South London/South East, or southern counties, Surrey / North Kent Experienced with Amtech and preferably AutoCAD Typical day to day tasks to include: – Cable Calcs & verification, Containment sizing, Lighting calculations and design, Review of Electrical subcontractor packages including Fire alarms, security, data etc Experience with Sustainability targets such as BREEAM, NABORS and WELL preferable.
