If you enjoy the people side of recruitment, building lasting client relationships and seeing a vacancy through to a successful placement, but could do without the constant pressure of business development and winning new clients, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

We're looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to join an established, internationally connected recruitment business.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and live vacancies, working closely with a wider team of recruitment and resourcing professionals to deliver outstanding results.

Whether you're currently working in a fast-paced 360 recruitment environment and fancy a change of pace, or you're looking to move further into account management, client relationships and recruitment delivery, we'd love to hear from you.

The role You'll be at the heart of the recruitment process, acting as a key point of contact for clients and candidates alike.

Working collaboratively with our internal teams, you'll take ownership of live recruitment assignments, ensuring every stage is managed effectively and every interaction reflects the quality of service we're known for.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Building strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their requirements and becoming a trusted point of contact for their recruitment needs.
  • Taking ownership of live vacancies from initial briefing through to successful placement, managing priorities and keeping everything on track.
  • Working closely with internal client services and resourcing teams to develop effective recruitment strategies and maximise results.
  • Reviewing and evaluating shortlisted candidates, conducting in-depth assessments and ensuring the right people progress through the process.
  • Managing the final stages of recruitment, including offer negotiations, reference and compliance checks and securing successful placements.
  • Building relationships with candidates, providing regular communication and support throughout their recruitment journey.
  • Developing your own professional network, staying close to market movements and sharing valuable industry insight with the wider business.

This is a relationship-led position where your ability to connect with people, understand their needs and deliver a consistently high standard of service will make a real difference.

What we're looking for You'll already have a solid grounding in recruitment and understand what it takes to manage a successful recruitment process.

We're particularly interested in people who have worked in technical recruitment or within a specialist recruitment market, although we're open to other relevant recruitment backgrounds.

Ideally, you'll bring

  • At least three years' experience within a recruitment consultancy or specialist recruitment environment.
  • Experience managing vacancies and building relationships with clients and candidates.
  • A good understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, from initial briefing through to offer and placement.
  • Strong communication, listening and relationship-building skills.
  • The confidence to work autonomously, make decisions and take ownership of your workload.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of the importance of delivering results.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

Above all, we're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys recruitment, takes pride in building meaningful professional relationships and wants to be part of a collaborative team.

What's on offer?

  • A refreshing opportunity to focus on recruitment delivery, client relationships and candidate engagement.
  • Less emphasis on traditional cold business development and winning new business.
  • The support of an established internal resourcing and client services team.
  • Autonomy and genuine ownership of your vacancies and relationships.
  • The opportunity to develop your market knowledge and professional network.
  • Hybrid working.
  • A supportive environment with plenty of opportunity to develop your career.

Interested?

If you're an experienced recruiter who loves the people side of the job but is ready for a different balance, we'd be keen to have a conversation.

You don't need to be looking for a complete career change.

Sometimes it's simply about finding a role that allows you to focus on the parts of recruitment you enjoy most
