About the role

Location: Harrogate

Salary: up to £36,182 basic per annum plus bonus

Hours: 45 hours per week, including Saturday mornings on a rota basis

We are seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join our clients main dealership in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high quality workmanship. This role focuses on general servicing and pre delivery inspections, along with other technical tasks.

PDI Technician Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Vehicle Technicians to perform service maintenance and repairs
  • Conduct safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance, and minor repairs as directed
  • Replenish consumables as requested by technicians or the Service Manager
  • Operate all tools and equipment safely and in accordance with guidelines
  • Attend training sessions and departmental meetings
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while upholding the high standards of a main dealership

PDI Technician Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, or higher
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a vehicle technician
  • Competence using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong team player with the ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
