Working Pattern Varied - 5 in 7. As a Security Supervisor, you will play a key role in supervising the security team and providing exceptional first-line manned guarding to the assigned contract. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will ensure the safety and security of all staff and visitors, manage emergency situations, and maintain high standards of security operations.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervising the security team, providing exceptional first-line manned guarding to the assigned contract
- Providing an exceptional level of service to all staff and visitors to the site
- Acting as a point of contact for all emergency situations, ensuring swift and effective responses
- Operating and controlling the CCTV system to monitor and secure the premises
- Conducting regular patrols of the site to ensure all standards are maintained and identifying any security risks
- Ensuring compliance with all identified legislation, including Health & Safety, SIA Licensing, and Risk Assessments
- Communicating effectively with the security team and other departments to ensure seamless coordination
- Training and mentoring new security staff to ensure they meet the required standards
- Preparing and maintaining accurate records and reports related to security operations
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- You must have the right to work in the UK
- Must hold a valid SIA licence
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- A professional demeanour
