We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist who loves turning complex offshore projects into smooth, well-managed sourcing stories. Where you will work
You will be based in Aberdeen, working closely with offshore and marine energy clients. You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering group where collaboration across teams is the norm, not the exception.
What you will do
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for assigned offshore projects and categories
- Develop sourcing strategies that support project schedules, cost targets, and quality requirements
- Run supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting processes in line with company standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across engineering, project management, and operations
- Monitor supplier performance, manage risks, and support issue resolution to keep projects moving
- Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and ways of working
What you will bring
- Experienced in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing, ideally in offshore, marine, energy, or heavy engineering
- Solid experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation
- Good understanding of commercial terms and basic contract law in a project environment
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with global suppliers and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable using procurement or ERP systems and working with data for decision-making
- Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
