About the role

We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist who loves turning complex offshore projects into smooth, well-managed sourcing stories. If you enjoy negotiating smart deals, building strong supplier relationships, and keeping projects on track in challenging environments, you will feel right at home here. You will join a global marine construction company working on big, complex offshore projects that really move the needle in the energy and marine sectors.

Where you will work

You will be based in Aberdeen, working closely with offshore and marine energy clients. We operate with a flexible asset strategy and a business model built on long-term partnerships and customer focus. You will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering group where collaboration across teams is the norm, not the exception.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities for assigned offshore projects and categories
  • Develop sourcing strategies that support project schedules, cost targets, and quality requirements
  • Run supplier selection, qualification, negotiation, and contracting processes in line with company standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders across engineering, project management, and operations
  • Monitor supplier performance, manage risks, and support issue resolution to keep projects moving
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and ways of working

What you will bring

  • Experienced in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing, ideally in offshore, marine, energy, or heavy engineering
  • Solid experience in strategic sourcing, tendering, and contract negotiation
  • Good understanding of commercial terms and basic contract law in a project environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with global suppliers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Comfortable using procurement or ERP systems and working with data for decision-making
  • Professional working proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus

Why you will enjoy working here

You will join a team that values experience, dedication, and collaboration, but also appreciates a bit of everyday humour to keep things human. Our culture is inclusive and diverse, and we genuinely welcome different backgrounds and perspectives. We like direct communication, minimal bureaucracy, and fast decision-making, which means you can actually get things done.

You can expect flexible working conditions, access to sports facilities like a gym and squash courts, as well as regular social events through an active internal social club. Innovation, creativity, and collaborative problem-solving are strongly encouraged, so if you like to share ideas and learn continuously, you will fit right in. Our dynamic international environment gives you plenty of opportunities to grow your career and expand your skills.
