About the role

San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto, both accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). It is a Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 private day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English.

Job Description

  • Skills: Organization, Planning, Ability to communicate in English fluently, give effective feedback to students, and have a good relationship with the students and teachers.
  • Knowledge: Student’s Profile
  • Experience: 1 year of experience working with students
  • Education: Degree in Education or Psychology

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the student is delivering all assignments to the teacher and takes home the material needed to complete homework.
  • Report to the school psychologist, if necessary, to discuss the student’s academic achievement, relationships with peers and teachers, and non-academic factors.
  • Report to the student’s homeroom teacher to identify areas of opportunity and create an action plan.
  • Support the student if they are having difficulties with assignments or if they are unable to work due to possible distractions in the classroom.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, and the willingness to undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
