Shape the future of NFU Mutual's Digital Customer Strategy and roadmap. Lead and develop our Digital Product team. Hybrid working with 80% homeworking and 20% from our Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon.

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Digital Product Manager to provide strategic leadership across NFU Mutual's growing digital product portfolio, ensuring our digital products maximise customer and business value and continue to evolve in line with our strategic ambitions. Reporting to the Head of Digital Customer Strategy, you will lead and develop our Digital Product team and provide senior product leadership across an expanding portfolio. You will shape and oversee the Digital roadmap, ensuring priorities are driven by customer and business value, aligned to strategic outcomes and translated into clear, deliverable product plans. This is an exciting point in NFU Mutual's digital transformation. As established digital products transition from programme delivery into enduring BAU product ownership, our ambitions and product estate continue to grow. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring we maximise the value of what we have already delivered whilst creating the product leadership and capacity to support the next phase of transformation across areas including Claims and Commercial Customers.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will create clarity across competing priorities, build alignment around product direction and ensure teams remain focused on delivering the outcomes that matter most. You will provide strong strategic ownership throughout the product lifecycle, balancing customer, commercial, operational and technology considerations while driving a culture of delivery, accountability and continuous improvement. You will provide digital product expertise across the organisation, working with internal teams, strategic partners and third-party suppliers to enable effective delivery within appropriate quality, financial and regulatory expectations. You will proactively identify and resolve barriers to progress and ensure dependencies across the wider Digital portfolio are understood and effectively managed. As a member of the Digital leadership team, you will also play an important role in developing our product management capability. You will lead, coach and motivate Product Owners, creating clear accountability and direction while raising product management standards and building the capability required as NFU Mutual's Digital portfolio continues to expand.

This role requires a strategic and influential product leader who can bring together strategy, customer need and delivery, turn ambition into clear priorities and create the environment for teams to deliver outstanding digital experiences and measurable business value.

About you

You will be an experienced digital product leader with a strong customer and commercial focus, and a track record of leading products through transformation and into continuous product management. Comfortable working at both strategic and delivery level, you will be able to turn business strategy and customer needs into clear product priorities and roadmaps. You’ll bring sound judgement when balancing competing demands and be confident creating clarity and alignment across complex stakeholder environments. You’ll be a collaborative and influential leader who can bring together business, customer, technology and delivery teams. With a strong delivery mindset, you’ll know how to maintain momentum, encourage accountability and constructively challenge where needed to achieve the right outcomes.

To join our team, you will also have the following:

  • Strong digital product management and leadership experience, ideally across multiple products or customer journeys.
  • Experience of leading, coaching and developing Product Owners or product teams.
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience of shaping product strategies and roadmaps, prioritising investment and securing senior sponsorship.
  • A track record of leading significant digital change from inception through delivery and into continuous improvement.
