Nexter Nursery Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic and caring qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our growing team in Croydon! This is a temporary agency role with the opportunity to extend or lead to permanent positions within our partner nurseries.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide high-quality care and supervision for young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
  • Create engaging activities that promote children's development through play and exploration.
  • Support the team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, clean, and organised learning space.

Pay: £12.25 - £13.00 per hour

Experience:

Nursery: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred)

What We're Looking For:

  • A genuine love for working with children and a passion for early years education (experience not always necessary, but a willingness to learn is essential).
  • One of the following:
  • A Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification with Full valid Paediatric First Aid.
  • A minimum of 3 months' experience working in UK nurseries (which we can reference check).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong commitment to child safety and well-being.
  • An Enhanced DBS check live on the Update service.
