Nexfibre Networks Limited is a next-generation fibre broadband company, formed in December 2022 as a joint venture between InfraVia Capital Partners, Liberty Global, and Telefónica. The company is on a mission to deliver high-speed broadband across the UK on a wholesale basis that can be utilized by all retail Internet Service Providers, with its network currently passing over 2.6 million homes. With a backing of £4.5 billion investment, Nexfibre aims to create a national scale fibre-to-the-home network to compete with BT Openreach while supporting the Government’s ambition for nationwide ultrafast broadband rollout by 2030.
