Job Title

Trainee Mobile Maintenance Technician

Location & Travel

Geographical patch Edinburgh to Glasgow and surrounding areas – daily travel up to 2hrs+ radius from home. Once per month overnight stays.

Salary & Hours

Monday – Friday 27,000 – 29,040 with performance bonus, overtime up to 10,000 additional. Hours normally between 8am and 4pm (flexibility required – earliest start 5am, possible later finishes). Guaranteed salary every month whether hours are available or not.

Clearance & Checks

Official UK Government Security Classification check required. Full employment and residential history for 5 years mandatory; DBS check mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • IT hardware auditing, PC cleaning and data centre maintenance.
  • Servicing and maintaining delivery lockers at various locations.
  • Visiting 6–12 sites per day, travelling up to 2hrs+ and driving solo in company van.
  • Liaising with clients concerning hazards and safety requirements.
  • Writing reports on tablets, notifying on work done and hazards found.
  • Hands‑on maintenance and cleaning of technical rooms and computer hardware.
  • Full training provided; self‑managed schedule visiting companies within local area.
