Member of the Banking – Assets Legal team in charge of transactional legal support for Infrastructure & Energy Banking activities, including structured finance, project finance and other real assets financing transactions, as applicable. Senior specialist lawyer involved at all relevant stages of Infrastructure & Energy Banking transactions, including structuring, legal analysis, negotiation, documentation, signing and post-signing matters where relevant.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Providing legal advice, drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documentation and internal legal analyses in relation to Infrastructure & Energy Banking transactions and related legal issues.
- Liaising with external counsel.
- Monitoring legal, regulatory and market developments relevant to infrastructure, energy and real assets financing activities.
- Training and advising front office bankers, agency team, middle office, back office, syndication, innovation department on applicable aspects of infrastructure banking activities.
- Providing legal contributions internally (including credit and new product committees).
- Coordinating internally with other legal departments or foreign branches, compliance, tax, middle office and risk departments as appropriate, in compliance with applicable internal procedures and guidelines.
- Contributing to cross-functional projects of the Legal Department and/or business teams, depending on priorities and needs.
What we need from you:
- English qualified lawyer with a minimum of 10 years' PQE.
- Excellent academics and strong analytical skills.
- Significant experience in Infrastructure & Energy Banking activities gained at a top city law firm potentially complemented by in-house experience.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and key stakeholders, strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and operate under pressure.
- Team oriented with the ability to respond and be flexible to client demands, whilst adhering to firm policies and group practices.
- Ability to identify, assess and manage legal risks and escalate as required.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), including the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to senior internal stakeholders and non-lawyer audiences.

- Experienced legal counsel for Asset banking activities with 10+ years of experience, specifically specialist lawyer for Infrastructure & Energy Banking transactions supporting Infrastructure & Energy Banking transactions and related legal matters, with a focus on advising internal business stakeholders based in Paris, London and Dubai.
