Salary: £33,056 Per Annum

Hours – 8am- 5pm Monday to Friday.

Home based.

Are you passionate about supporting vulnerable people? Can you lead a team of Keyworkers to deliver strength-based, person-led support to enable people to find their own solutions and make positive changes to their lives? If so, we have a Team Manager vacancy at The Prevention Alliance (TPA) and would love to hear from you.

The TPA is made up of five not for profit organisations who work together to deliver our mission – Creating Change Together through the strengths of people and communities. The Alliance partners are Age UK Stockport, Jigsaw Support, Nacro, Stockport Homes and Talk Listen Change (TLC).

The TPA are commissioned by Stockport Council to deliver Stockport Support Hub and Your Support in Stockport. Our services provide the right support at the right time for Stockport residents aged 18 and over.

The role will be leading a team of ‘Your Support’ Keyworkers to deliver strength- based, holistic support.

Skills Required:

-Proven track record in working with vulnerable people and groups.

– Ability to mobilise and implement projects or services in challenging conditions

– Commitment to continuous improvement & collaborative working (including Lived Experience)

– Commitment to strength- based leadership

Key Responsibilities;

  • Successfully recruit, induct, and train new staff members to ensure all staff are prepared and able to succeed in their role.
  • Provide adequate support and supervision for all staff to ensure high levels of commitment and retention & to ensure strength based, person-centred support is delivered consistently.
  • Understand service specifications and be able to clearly articulate service delivery requirements to the staff team to ensure that contract objectives are achieved.
  • Work closely with the Alliance Manager, colleagues, commissioners, and stakeholders to build positive working relationships to ensure the success of the contract.
  • Produce reports and statistics which demonstrate impact, outcomes, and volumes, as per contract requirements
