We are hiring a SOC Manager to lead our Security Operations function in our Dundee hub supporting MSP partners and SaaS environments. This role blends technical leadership, operational ownership, and customer impact, ensuring we deliver scalable, high-quality threat detection and response across a multi-tenant environment.
As Manager of Security Operations you are responsible for supervising SOC analysts and ensuring timely and accurate response to security alerts and incidents. This role focuses on operational execution, team coordination, and continuous improvement of SOC processes. You will work closely with senior leadership to implement best practices and support strategic initiatives. The role is hybrid requiring 3 days a week in the office.
What You’ll Do- Supervise SOC analysts in day-to-day monitoring and incident response activities
- Ensure proper documentation and escalation of security events
- Maintain SOC procedures and ensure consistent execution
- Collaborate with other teams to support investigations and remediation efforts
- Monitor SOC performance and contribute to reporting
- Assist in on-boarding and training of new analysts
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives
- Improve detection quality while reducing noise
- Enhance customer trust and retention through strong incident handling
- Excellent track record in cybersecurity or IT operations and solid experience leading and motivating teams
- Strong experience in MSP, MSSP, or SaaS environments
- Considerable experience in SOC environments and incident response
- Deep understanding of SIEM, EDR, endpoint security, and cloud environments
- Proven ability to manage 24/7 operations and high-volume alert environments
- Ability to bridge technical detail and business impact
- Leadership and stakeholder management (internal + external)
- Strong operational mindset (metrics, SLAs, service delivery) coupled with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Certifications such as SEC+, GCIA, or GCIH are beneficial
