We are looking for a confident, driven, and guest-focused Shift Manager to join our MyLahore family.
As a Shift Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering a “Impeccable” experience for every guest. You will lead your team during shifts, ensuring high standards of service, operational excellence, and team development in line with MyLahore’s values: Kind, Purposeful, Impeccable.
Role Summary
As a Shift Manager, you are responsible for leading the restaurant team during service, ensuring smooth day to day operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will act as a role model for your team, maintaining high standards, supporting team development, and ensuring all operational and safety procedures are followed. Your leadership will be key in driving performance, team engagement, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
· Lead your team to deliver exceptional guest experiences that go beyond expectations
· Ensure all guests receive warm, friendly, and efficient service at all times
· Respond to guest feedback and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
· Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects MyLahore’s hospitality standards
Operational Excellence
· Coordinate front of house and back of house operations during your shift
· Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across all areas
· Monitor compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and statutory regulations
· Support stock control, forecasting, and cost management to minimise waste
· Ensure all food and beverages meet company quality and presentation standards
Team Leadership and Development
· Lead, motivate, and support your team to deliver consistent performance
· Conduct pre shift briefings to set clear expectations and energise the team
· Coach team members on service standards and continuously improve performance
· Support training, induction, and ongoing development of team members
· Provide feedback and assist in performance evaluations
Teamwork and Collaboration
· Work closely with kitchen and front of house teams to ensure smooth service delivery
· Foster a positive, supportive, and respectful working environment
· Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
· Promote teamwork and lead by example at all times
Standards and Compliance
· Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and brand standards
· Manage cash handling and reconciliation in line with company processes
· Complete required reports, schedules, and documentation accurately and on time
· Maintain equipment and ensure it is clean and in excellent working condition
Personal Standards and Development
· Maintain a professional appearance and uphold MyLahore brand standards at all times
· Demonstrate integrity, responsibility, and accountability in your role
· Be adaptable and proactive in supporting the wider business needs
· Continuously develop your leadership, operational, and service skills
Key Skills and Qualifications
· Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or managerial role
· Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
· Customer focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
· Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
· Good understanding of restaurant operations and service standards
· Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office
· Positive attitude with a strong teamwork approach
· High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
